The Junior Section is run by a team of Junior Organisers led by Our Club President Graham McCormack. A close knit group of dedicated individuals, the team ethos at Birchwood Golf Club is clearly evident within the Junior Section.
Aided by the Junior Club Captain Daniel Seddon and his Vice Captain Andrew Bourke, all juniors are made welcome at Birchwood Golf Club whatever standard of golfer they are.
Coaching
Run by Head Professional Carl Edwards, Junior coaching is currently held on Saturday mornings using the Junior Golf Foundation Passport Scheme. Classes are limited to a maximum of 6 people to enable greater enhancement of their time and ability to learn. Junior Competitions
Junior Competitions are held on Saturdays throughout the Summer Months. Tee times can vary from 11m to 2pm, with the usual starting time being 2pm. These are open to all Juniors Members of Birchwood Golf Club, with different handicap categories in place, Juniors with a handicap of 29 + will play off the shorter blue tee course.
