At Birchwood Golf Club in Warrington we have an 18 hole parkland course which will test the skills of all golfers. There are natural water features, many varieties of trees and wildlife and the fairways are quite wide. The course is fairly flat and is not too exhausting to walk.

We offer Society golf packages and those details follow. If you wish to make a reservation please complete the booking form available below and send it to The Secretary at the address shown at the foot of this page.

Our professional is Carl Edwards who is ready and willing to provide a quality service to all of our visitors. Birchwood is also the home club of both Derrick Cooper and Phillip Archer. Derrick played on the European Tour for many years and is now the Director of Competitions for the European Senior Tour. Phil is currently playing on the European and PGA Tours and is having some excellent results. His successes include 2 second place finishes and selection into Nick Faldo's GB & I team to play against Continental Europe in the Seve Trophy. He was unbeaten in this event and the members at Birchwood Golf Club wish him continued success on the European Tour and would love to see his name in the Ryder Cup standings in 2008.

The following information details the society packages available at Birchwood Golf Club in 2008.

The Summer Package - 1st April to the 31st October (mimimum of 8 golfers)

Summer Sizzler Package

18 holes of golf and Steak Sizzler with either a starter or a sweet
Cost per golfer £30.00

Additional combinations to the Summer Sizzler price:-

         Coffee and biscuits
          8 holes of golf
         Soup and sandwiches at lunchtime
         Extra course to the meal (starter or sweet)

Total price for the day with all combinations £43.00 per golfer.

The summer basic golf package

Basic golf package - £22.50
Chef's specials and bar Snack menu choices available to purchase on the day

The Winter package - 1st November to the 31st March (mimimum of 4 golfers)

Golf and steak sizzler
Cost per golfer £24.00

Additional combinations to the Winter Package:

          Coffee and biscuits £1.00
